A Press Tool (or a Die Set) is used to form sheet metal into its desired geometry/shape, generally assembled from steel plates/blocks and other accessories. In most tools, it has a Punch and a Cavity where cavity is also called Die Block or Die Plate. The machine used for press working is called a Press and it can be operated mechanically or hydraulically.
